those places of light that draw you to them

Everyone has a favorite setting

to savor the light in.

From gardens to forests,

park benches to sandy beaches.

listen while you read

Elysium

I think of you dancing

across a forest floor,

an ancient forest

filtering morning light

and the high-pointed notes

of hidden birds.

I think of you gliding

through this sea of green

forest flowing

with mosses and ferns,

your bare, star-stemmed body,

all cream and rose,

mirroring the grace

and joy of a doe

as you move swiftly

over the fragrant earth,

so free and flush

with life and loveliness.

a thought

Certain luminous places

can offer us such comfort,

or refreshment, peace,

or feelings of freedom.

a QUESTION

What if you followed all the light-framed, light-gilded places that invite you to them? And opened to communing in and with them, or even more.

with morning light, is my haven."

a call to experience

When you're next in a favorite or newfound sanctuary, in Nature or elsewhere, enfolded in a lambent or lucent way, sense more into what it is about being there that embraces or entrances you. And how else its spirit may want to move yours. Its Genius loci, as the ancient Romans called it. Maybe even inspiring you to break into song there, or dance like the young lady dancing across an ancient forest floor ...
